SixFifty’s After School classes and Summer Camps are exciting opportunities for new players to get involved in the game of lacrosse and experienced players to take it to the next level! Currently, we have Summer Day-Camp offerings and Private Small Group Lessons in Menlo-Atherton and Santa Clara for 2017.
For beginners, no equipment is needed and we provide lacrosse sticks
Camps and classes are exciting, high-energy sessions designed to introduce beginner players to the basics of throwing/catching and team play.
Experienced players can expect full-contact play focusing on improving individual positional skills, lacrosse IQ, and high-level team concepts.
Generally, one-third of a session focuses on skills work and two-thirds focuses on controlled-scrimmaging.
Using our time-tested curriculum developed by Coach Bond, players are led through skills & game sessions embedded with teamwork, decision-making, and leadership lessons designed to foster athletic & personal growth. In addition to lacrosse fundamentals, teaching includes age-appropriate athletic development, athletic movement, and coordination. And best of all, lacrosse is so much fun!
