Untitled 9
WINTER SEASON Dec 2 – Jan 20 (3rd-5th Graders)

Wondering what the big deal is about Box Lacrosse? Here’s what 7x national champion head coach, Bill Tierney (Princeton/Denver), has to say about Box:

“If I had my choice, I would have every player under the age of twelve play box lacrosse exclusively or at least a majority of the time. The number of touches of the ball and the ability to develop better stick skills in a game of box lacrosse far surpasses what happens to young people on a 110×60 yard field. Learning how to pass and catch in traffic, understanding how to shoot, and developing a sense of physicality are all positive traits developed by the box game. If I was U.S. Lacrosse, I wouldn’t let any kids play field until they were 10 or 12.”

Box Lacrosse is the single, best way to improve your game! The intense, non-stop action of Box will improve your dodging, shooting, defense, and team play. Join us at the SportsHouse – a world-class facility in our own backyard.

Why Box Lacrosse will get you better, faster:

  1. Stickwork, stickwork, stickwork! Smaller field, fewer players, no out-of-bounds = more reps and touches on the ball.
  2. Smaller goals teaches better shooting accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Short sticks only, all players play offense and defense, and relentless fast-breaks = improved Lacrosse IQ (game sense)
